Great Barney Bake-Off

Hi Again,

Wait till I tell ye what we've been up to at Axiom Belfast, to support our good friends at Barnardo's - my charity. We had a Great Barney Bake Off and I was the chief Judge. The contestants made some yummy cakes .. they were gorgeous ..

It was a really hard job, to decide who the winner was .. I had to have quite a few slices of each cake before I could cast my vote .. but I managed.

The winners were, Anna, Beth and Neil .. Well Done to all.

Here I am with my fellow judges after a great day's work ..

Very enjoyable day and we made lots of money for our Barnardo's children.

Thank You to all ....

Posh Night Out ....

Hi there friends and Barney Bloggers,

Com'ere till I tell ye ..  I've just been to a fantastic Posh Do. That's me there being served posh food and wine in a fabulous ballroom ..

It was a big night out for the Ravenhillers .. and they brought me along. I was delighted and sooooo excited to be brought. My Auntie Siobhan was the star of the show (apart from me ! of course ..). She had lots of speeches to make. She was really important. And my Uncle Hew had a big job to do too. He had to present the Axiom Cup to the best student. It was all very exciting. I had a brilliant night out. I hope they bring me again next year.

I took a few photos on the night and put them to music .. here ya go ..

Marc's Heroics for Bernardo's & a Milestone for Axiom Belfast

Hi everyone,

First, I have to say a big Sorry to my good friend Marc in Belfast for the delay in writing about his fantastic achievement of completing the Belfast Half Marathon for Bernardo's, my charity.

Marc, everyone at Bernardo's and at Axiom is so proud of you. Thank you so much on behalf of all the children we support.

Here's Marc's message to all his fans

Hey guys,

Yesterday I ran the 2014 Belfast Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for the partner charity of our axiom engage project; Barnardos NI.

Throwing on a T-Shirt with the white and green colours of Barnardos NI, I felt a healthy bit of pride for how much our axiom engage project has developed in such a short space of time. We now have a flourishing partnership with the charity, with a high level of awareness and an actively engaged office of axiomites!

The excitement and buzz grew as myself and the other 3,800 runners left the Kings Hall and onto the leafy suburbs of South Belfast, passing the University area we headed into Belfast City centre past the axiom Belfast office and towards the Belfast Harbour Estate. Running alongside the cranes which built the Titanic; myself and the other runners kept one foot in front of the other with steely determination. We then rounded into the newly developed Victoria Park and then back towards the Kings Hall to finish.

Clutching the winners medal I slowly made the long walk home, feeling ‘well chuffed’ helping to keep momentum with the axiom engage project and hopefully raising a few funds.

If you can spare few coins please support us by donating through just giving:

We will let Barney steal the show and pose with the impressive participants medal.

Here’s to looking forward to the 2015 full Belfast Marathon, anyone fancy creating a relay team…?

Cheers,

Marc

Well Done Marc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shortly after Marc's heroics, Axiom Belfast (I'm quite emotional at this ..it's my home site ..) celebrated our 100th Team Member. We were all so excited - we had a big party, with champagne and balloons .. great day. Here's the party :

Barney's tour of Wroclaw

Hello again,

I've just had a fantastic weekend here in Wroclaw seeing the sights. Wroclaw is famous for it's dwarfs ! They're brilliant - they're everywhere .. I think there's about 200 of them. I saw lots of them over the weekend, but still have a lot more to find ..

I went to visit Ostrow Tumski. It's a really lovely district - very historical and beautiful. It's got lots of very traditional and very old churches and a huge cathedral .. The weather was great and I walked for miles !!!!!!!!!!!!! I was exhausted but I had a great weekend.

Here's a record of my travels ..

Night out with my new friends in Wroclaw

Hi everybody,

I'm here in Wroclaw (I'll have to explain to the Belfast crew how to say this. It's not what it looks like !  but I'm practising hard and I will be very good when I get back home to Belfast !). I'm spending a few weeks working here with all my new friends. It's a brilliant place and I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

We had a night out in the museum across the road from the office. I had a great time exploring !!

< Here's some news & views from our night out Love Barney xx

London Town

Hi there friends and bloggers ...

I'm so excited to tell you about my first visit to London. I had a brilliant time. Kate brought me over. It was a very quick trip - just over in the evening, a full day in the London office where I met lots of new friends, and back home that evening. I had a fabulous trip.

I'm well used to the flights now, so I'm happy enough on a plane. I'd never been on a tube before (why do they call them tubes ? I thought it was toothpaste !).

Here's a few highlights of my brilliant trip to London.
